The ETF in close cooperation with the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL) is implementing the project The international dimension of Centres of vocational excellence: Building Vocational Excellence through international cooperation. This project is part of the EU’s major CoVE initiative which aims to make CoVEs an engine for the development of vocational excellence, for innovation, for cooperation and for improving the attractiveness and relevance of vocational education and training. Moreover, CoVEs are expected to address current priorities, in particular, the digital and green transitions.
To accompany the work of the project over the next two years and to validate project outputs a Consultation Panel has been established under the project, to which Talentjourney is also a member (represented by Ms Adrijana Hodak). The meeting on 28 June 2022 brought together members of the Consultation Panel for the International dimension of Centres of vocational excellence project for the first time.
The panel of CoVEs, representative organisations and other key stakeholders will help to shape the development of the self-assessment tool and the feasibility study and provide guidance for the research and communication work included in the project.
This first meeting established the relationships and mode of working necessary for the panel to perform its role. It focused particularly on the concept for the self-assessment tool and the process for the feasibility study.
