Smart internship on green technology

The collaboration between ISIS Malignani of Udine and local businesses has always been a distinctive and qualifying element of the institute, which, even in this moment characterized by the health emergency, has shared with the industrial fabric of the territory the will to restart and of not interruption of those precious synergies implemented through work training for students (“alternanza scuola lavoro”), which many positive effects have been shown to produce both for young people and for businesses.

This is no small challenge considering the situation that changes rapidly with ever increasing restrictions. Therefore, the recent successful conclusion of the internships in the company of two fifth classes of mechanics-mechatronics is of particular significance. Overcoming fears and difficulties, the activities were carried out in complete safety, almost for all the hours in the presence.

An effort of collaboration and trust that they shared with the institute: AREAINOX, ATOS, BROVEDANI, CARNIAFLEX, CHIURLO TEC, DEAL, EDDI BRESSAN, FAM, GRUPPO PITTINI FERRIERE NORD, FREUD, FRIUL FILIERE, MICRA, MOLD SOLUTIONS, OLM DUE, PELFA, RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana), SAF AUTOSERVIZI FVG, TECNOCMD, TT ITALY, VITERIA PETTARINI.

A separate mention goes to the “smart internship” activity carried out by some students with Danieli Academy. Working remotely in mixed mode (self-paced e-learning, media, activities & event, online collaborative learning, face to face training) and with regular briefings with tutors, the students started a very interesting project work on the subject of green technologies, also interfacing with the Danieli experts of the Research Center engaged in the crucial sectors of sustainable technologies combined with digitalization processes.
