We will take a look at real-world scenarios based on the current news cycle and my experience within the industry, to make this subject more relatable.
The Internet of Things is a fascinating technology with a huge impact on our everyday life. From smartphones, over smart homes all the way to fully automated supply-chains – everything is digital, everything has a chip inside. But how do we ensure that the hyper-connectivity and digitalization of this new world does not impact our privacy? How do we ensure that the devices do what they are supposed to? What risks, vulnerabilities and threats emerge with this new age of technology? In this course we will try to answer these questions. Thus, it is important to understand the risks it poses to our clients, institutions, other infrastructures and ourselves, and further gaining the knowledge on how to address those challenges.
